Location:
This resort is situated on the Highlands Reserve Golf Course and is just 10 minutes by car from the entrance to Walt Disney World (13 km). There is a supermarket located next to Highlands Reserve and a 24-hour Wal-Mart superstore can be reached in 5 minutes by car. Nearby attractions include SeaWorld, Universal Studios and Florida Mall, all approximately 30 minutes away by car, and Busch Gardens, which can be reached in just over an hour. The local airports include Orlando International Airport (56 km), Orlando Sanford International Airport (96 km), Tampa International Airport (112 km), Patrick Air Force Base (125 km) and Miami International Airport (386 km).
Facilities:
One of the more popular golf communities, these homes are surrounded by an immaculate landscaped golf course.
Rooms:
Homes have fully equipped kitchens with fridge/freezer, cooker, microwave, dishwasher, toaster and coffee maker. Other amenities include a washing machine, a tumble dryer, linens, towels, a direct dial telephone, cable TV, a radio and central air conditioning and heating. The master bedroom has a double bed with an adjoining bathroom (bathtub/shower), whilst additional bedrooms have either a double bed or 2 twin beds with at least 1 shared bathroom. The living area also has a double sleeper sofa. A 3-bedroom home sleeps up to 8 persons.
Sports/Entertainment:
On-site amenities include a communal swimming pool, a golf pro shop, tennis courts and a children’s playground. Guests will also find a screened-in private pool and a pool deck with at least 2 sun loungers. An 18-hole PGA Championship Golf Course winds through the grounds.
Meals:
A clubhouse and bar serve drinks and snacks during the day.

Guests can check in from 4 pm. Check in, registration and key collection is to be conducted from the Homes Welcome Center, located at 6365 W Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway, Kissimmee, Florida 34747. After hours’ key collection from the electronic lock box. Lock box code C-7-0-8-3 then press the button with the symbol of a door key. Homes assistance is available 24 hours a day via free phone 1 800 713 8356 and selecting the urgent message option. A refundable security deposit of USD 300 is required at registration. The following items can be added to bookings for a daily fee: pool heat USD 25 per day, baby cot rental USD 7 per day and highchair rental USD 7 per day, all including tax. All private homes and apartments are non-smoking and pets are not permitted.
How to get there:
From Orlando Airport: Take the south exit, signposted State Road 417 Kissimmee. Join SR417 heading west. The road ends at junction with Interstate I.4. Join I.4 heading west. Take exit 64 and follow signs for US192 east, Kissimmee. Once on US192, turn left at the first set of traffic flights, and then take the first left into the Hotelbeds Welcome Center.

We found Key West to be the closest thing to the Caribbean without leaving the US. The weather was great (although very hot in August), lots of history, pirate stories,haunted locations,great museums & art galleries, reasonably-priced restaurants,entertainment & of course, great sunsets! I Most of the entertainment options were geared toward adults so I wouldn’t recommend it so much for families with small children. My wife & I really loved it and it’s a great place to just “chill out”.
